Many Christmas enthusiasts not only keep their Christmas decor for long they also watch Christmas movies throughout the year and wish that it was Christmas every day. Thinking about something you love boosts dopamine production in your body and you naturally feel better. Psychologist Deborah Serani revealed in an interview that just putting Christmas decorations on releases feel-good hormones. "It does create that neurological shift that can produce happiness. I think anything that takes us out of our normal habituation, the normal day in, day out ... signals our senses, and then our senses measure if it's pleasing or not. Christmas decorating will spike dopamine, a feel-good hormone," she added.

2. It relieves stress

For people who love Christmas, the holiday is an amazing stress buster. Filled with such positive vibes and happiness, the festival tends to take people's stress away and help them relax. If you're feeling low, watching a Christmas movie or going through your Christmas photos is always a good idea as not only does it remind you of your favorite holiday, but they have a therapeutic effect on your body. Watch a classic and you'll feel calm and relaxed! The ones who binge on Christmas movies often are proven to be happier, less stressed and tend to live longer.

3. It gives you hope

Waiting for Christmas gives you hope and helps you keep a positive outlook on life. Christmas is all about positivity, good vibes, values, and inspiration and it also stands for the fact that no matter what happens, no matter what you are going through, whether you've been good or bad, the day will come. Christmas movies are proven to cheer people up and fill them with hope. In fact, most primary schools these days make children watch Christmas movies together to inculcate positivity in them, teaching them to be kind and content. If not always, more than often Christmas movies end on a happy note, which makes the viewer believe that no matter what they are currently going through, everything will be okay.

4. Watching Christmas movies together helps you bond

Watching movies together is always a good idea when you're trying to improve your relationship with anyone, be it your kid, your spouse or a friend. Watching Christmas movies together, however, has a bigger impact. Why? Because these movies focus on family values, love between two people and the powerful bond of friendship. Plus, laughing together always helps. Laughing is an amazing exercise which keeps blood pressure issues and heart problems at bay.

Every year we gather together with our loved ones and spend quality time together by having special Christmas dinners, parties, or just chilling in bed while watching Christmas movies. You feel thankful for everything good in your life.
